Confidentiality and Privacy

Westernport Myotherapy abides by the following policy:

1. Confidentiality of client information will be observed. Consent must be provided by the patient (or in the case of a minor, their parent of legal guardian) before information that is required to be kept confidential (at law) is disclosed to any person.

2. We will honour the clients’ right to personal privacy and modesty.

3. We will maintain professional ethical standards and comply with generally accepted standards of professional behaviour.

4. We will comply with all Privacy Laws.

These principles are in line with those required by the Massage and Myotherapy Australia (AAMT).
